Area code 900: premium rate, not a location
Area code 900 is the North American code for premium-rate (pay-per-call) services, not a place. The caller pays a charge set by the service on top of the call, and NANPA lists 900 in service since January 1, 1971.
Free, runs in your browser; nothing is sent. The sample is a sample, not a real line.
Paste your 900 numbers (a mixed list is fine). They are counted here at once; the free checker then gives every number its E.164 form, country and line type, with a file to download.

What a 900 number is for
In the US, pay-per-call services on 900 numbers are covered by the FTC's 900-Number Rule (16 CFR Part 308), which requires the cost of the call to be disclosed before charges begin. Many phone lines block 900 calls by default or on request.
A 900 number in a lead or customer list is rarely what you want: calling it costs money and it never reaches a person's own phone. A bulk validator tags these rows as premium rate so you can remove them before a calling or SMS campaign.
The full set of free-to-call and charged ranges for +1 is on toll-free and premium numbers in the United States.

The bulk phone number validator tags every row with its type (toll-free, premium, mobile or landline) and writes it in E.164, free.

The numbering plan says what a range is for, not who answers.

Area code 900 questions
- Where is area code 900?
- It isn't tied to a location. 900 is a non-geographic code for premium-rate services across the North American Numbering Plan.
- Does it cost money to call a 900 number?
- Yes. The service sets a per-call or per-minute charge that is added to your phone bill, and in the US the FTC's rule requires that price to be disclosed first.
- How do I block 900 numbers?
- Ask your phone provider: most offer a block on 900 calls. In a contact list, filter the rows a validator marks as premium rate.
