Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply when you use SimpleVerifier (simpleverifier.com), including the website, the web app, the API and the Google Sheets add-on. In these terms, “SimpleVerifier”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of SimpleVerifier, and “you” means the person or business using it. By creating an account, subscribing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use SimpleVerifier for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
The service
SimpleVerifier checks email addresses and phone numbers. Email verification uses syntax checks, DNS lookups and a conversation with the recipient’s mail server; no email is sent. The service also includes an email finder, website enrichment, lead search, phone number validation and, with the phone add-on, live carrier lookups. Features may change as the product develops; what each plan includes today is listed on the pricing page.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything done through your SimpleVerifier account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it. You must give us accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
Subscriptions and billing
- Pro: $39 a month. Email verification with the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off, plus the finder and the API.
- Pro + Phone: $49.99 a month. Pro with the phone add-on: live carrier lookups for your phone lists.
- Business: $99 a month. For senders with big lists: the first 300,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off.
- Agency: $249 a month. For agencies running lists for clients: the first 750,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off.
- Starter: $9 a month for 2,500 emails a month.
- Monthly allowances: on Starter (and the Growth plan, no longer sold, for existing subscriptions), one email is counted per unique address when a list starts; duplicates, addresses we could not check and addresses a canceled list never reached are given back. The allowance resets at the start of each billing period and unused emails do not roll over. These plans cover CSV email verification only, not the API, the email finder or phone checks.
- Phone add-on: Pro + Phone is $49.99 a month ($499.90 a year), Pro plus 5,000 live carrier lookups a month.
- API usage: Pro includes 10,000 calls a month, then $1.50 per 1,000; Business includes 100,000 calls a month, then $1.00 per 1,000; Agency includes 300,000 calls a month, then $1.00 per 1,000. On monthly billing, calls past the included number are billed in arrears with the next invoice. On yearly billing, the included calls are a monthly limit: further calls are refused with HTTP 402 until the 1st of the next month (UTC), and nothing extra is charged.
- Existing subscriptions: Pro subscriptions started before 23 October 2026 and Email + Phone subscriptions keep the terms they signed up on.
- One-time packs: email credits and phone lookups bought as a pack never expire, cannot be exchanged for cash and are used at standard speed. Email credits cover CSV email verification only. A full-speed top-up is for Pro, Business and Agency: its checks never expire and are used at full speed only after the plan's monthly full-speed volume, before the slower lane. Packs and top-ups add no connections beyond the shared daily sending limit, so a very large list can still queue.
Payments are taken by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes that apply where you are. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month on the same date until you cancel. Your invoices are under Billing in your dashboard.
If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. If a payment fails, your access to paid features may stop until the subscription is paid.
Free trial
Some visitors are offered a 3-day free trial of Pro. The trial needs a card. Nothing is charged when it starts. When the 3 days end, the card is charged $39 for the first month, and then every month, until you cancel. The checkout page shows the end date before you enter a card.
You can cancel at any time during the trial from Billing in your dashboard. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged, and you keep trial access until the end date. During the trial you can run up to 1,000 email checks; the API, the email finder and enrichment open when the trial turns into a paid subscription. There is one trial per person, card, device and network, and we limit how many trials start each day. We may end a trial that breaks these rules. After the trial, the subscription terms above apply, including the no-refund policy in the Cancellation and refunds section.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. When you cancel, your subscription is not renewed, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
No refunds. Fees are non-refundable once charged, including for a partly used month and for renewals, except where the law requires otherwise. Before you pay you can try SimpleVerifier with the 100 free checks, no card needed, so you know what you are buying. To stop future billing, cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard.
Acceptable use
You must not use SimpleVerifier to:
- send spam, or prepare lists for sending unsolicited bulk email or text messages;
- verify or find addresses or numbers you have no lawful basis to contact, or break any anti-spam, privacy or data protection law, such as CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, the GDPR or the UK GDPR;
- harass, track or harm anyone;
- abuse the API, get around its limits, or try to overload, disrupt or probe the service or the mail servers it connects to;
- share, sell or resell your API keys or your access, or offer the service to others as your own;
- try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
- copy, scrape or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process the lists you upload and to contact the people on them.
Fair use and rate limits
Starter has a fixed monthly allowance. Pro, Business and Agency do not cut you off when you verify a lot of email; they set how much runs at full speed, and the service has published limits so it stays fast and reliable for everyone:
- Pro: the first 100,000 emails a month run at full speed; Business: the first 300,000 emails a month run at full speed; Agency: the first 750,000 emails a month run at full speed. Past that, big lists (2,000 rows or more) keep running in a slower shared lane. Nothing is refused and nothing extra is charged. Business and Agency lists go ahead of the shared queue. Where we say “unlimited” or “never cut off” for Pro, Business or Agency, this is what it means: unlimited email verification under these fair-use terms, slower past the full-speed volume, never stopped. It does not cover API calls, lead search or phone lookups, which have their own limits (see API usage above and the list below).
- Email verification capacity is shared by all customers. List jobs run at up to about 60 addresses a minute while the day's capacity lasts, and about 30 a minute averaged over a day. Larger lists queue rather than fail.
- CSV uploads can have up to 100,000 rows.
- Lead search has a fair-use limit of 10,000 records a month.
- Each API key can make up to 120 calls a minute.
- The phone add-on includes 5,000 live carrier lookups a month. Failed lookups do not count against the allowance.
If an account’s use threatens the service for other customers, we may slow it down or ask you to change how you use it.
API keys
You can create API keys in your dashboard. Keep them secret: do not put them in public code, client side apps or shared documents. You are responsible for all use of your keys. If a key may have been exposed, delete it in your dashboard and create a new one. A key only works while your subscription is active.
Accuracy of results
Verification results are a best judgement from the responses of other systems, not a guarantee. Mail servers can be configured to hide whether a mailbox exists, can change their answer later, and can accept mail for any address. That is why results are not only valid or invalid: an address whose mailbox could not be confirmed is returned as risky, never as valid, and some tools, such as the catch-all checker and the email permutator, can return unknown when a mail server gives no usable answer.
Phone checks tell you whether a number is correctly formed and, with a live lookup, its line type and carrier. They do not confirm that a number is in service, who owns it, or that a message will be delivered. A valid result is not a promise that an email or message will reach anyone, and you decide what to do with each result.
Your data
You own the lists you upload and the results we produce for you. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your lists or use them for marketing.
Your verification jobs and results files are deleted 7 days after you submit a list, so download your results within that time. On paid plans, a finished list's risky addresses (only those marked Send with care or Check again later, with their earlier status and reason, no other columns) and its job record without the results file are kept for 14 days after the list finishes, so you can re-check them; free accounts keep them only as long as the results file. Confirmed results are also cached by address for 14 days so a repeat check is instant. See how long we keep it for details, and the security page, subprocessors and DPA template.
Affiliate program
If you join the affiliate program, these terms also apply to you as an affiliate:
- Commission: 30% of every paid invoice from a customer you refer, on every plan, after refunds and chargebacks. It is recurring for the life of the customer: you earn on each payment for as long as they keep paying. If they cancel, it stops; if the same account subscribes again, it earns again.
- Attribution: Your link sets a first-party cookie that lasts 60 days. The first affiliate link a visitor opens counts; a different affiliate's link opened later in that window does not replace it. When the visitor signs up or checks out inside the window, your code is saved with their account and their Stripe customer record, and they stay yours from then on.
- New customers only: Someone who had already paid SimpleVerifier before their first purchase through your link does not count.
- No self-referrals: Purchases made with the same email as your affiliate account, or by the same Stripe customer, earn nothing. Opening extra accounts to refer yourself voids those commissions.
- Refunds and chargebacks: A refunded payment reverses its commission and a partial refund reduces it. A chargeback reverses the commission while it is open and if it is lost; if the dispute is won, the commission comes back. If a reversed commission was already paid out, it comes off your next payout. Refunds to customers are not standard and are issued only at our discretion or where the law requires.
- Hold period: Each commission is pending for 30 days after the payment, so refunds and disputes can settle. Then it becomes payable.
- Payouts: Once a month, by hand, through PayPal or Wise to the account email you set. The minimum payout is $50.00; a smaller balance rolls over to the next month. Nothing is paid automatically. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
- No spam: Do not promote your link with unsolicited email, bulk direct messages, comment or forum spam, or bought lists. Share it where people chose to hear from you: your content, newsletter, community, or clients.
- No brand bidding: Do not run paid search or social ads on SimpleVerifier's name, its misspellings or the domain, and do not run ads that look like ours or link straight to our site through your code. Content and reviews you publish yourself are fine.
- No misleading claims: Describe SimpleVerifier as it is. Do not promise results, accuracy, prices, discounts or features we do not offer, and do not present yourself as SimpleVerifier.
- Disclose your link: Tell your audience clearly, next to the link or mention, that you earn a commission. In the United States the FTC's Endorsement Guides require this, and similar rules apply in the UK, the EU and elsewhere. Disclosing only in a profile, a footer or a pile of hashtags is not enough. You are responsible for following the rules where you publish; ready-made wording is on the assets page. This is not legal advice.
- Breaking the rules: Commissions earned through spam, brand bidding, misleading claims, cookie stuffing or self-referral are void, and we may close the affiliate account. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first.
- Changes: We may change or end the program. A change applies only to payments made after it is posted on this page, and commissions you have already earned keep the rate they were recorded at and are still paid under these terms.
Paid links
Some links on our free domain tools are paid links. When a name looks available, we may show a “Register” link to a domain registrar such as Spaceship or Namecheap. If you buy through one of those links, the registrar may pay us a commission. It doesn’t change your price, and it doesn’t change any result: availability comes from each registry’s RDAP server and DNS and is the same whether or not you click. The registrar confirms the final price and whether a name is premium or reserved. These links carry only the domain you searched and which tool and position it came from, never your email or account details. They are marked as sponsored for search engines.
Third-party services
SimpleVerifier relies on other providers, including Google for sign-in and the Sheets add-on, Stripe for payments, and Telnyx for live carrier lookups. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or for third-party mail servers and networks that a check depends on. The providers we use are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep SimpleVerifier running, but we do not promise any level of uptime. The service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something central to a paid plan, we will tell you, and you can cancel.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or that the service will be error free.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, sender reputation or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using SimpleVerifier and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or disable an API key, if it breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product or the law changes. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top, and if a change is significant, we will say so clearly on this page before it takes effect. If you keep using SimpleVerifier after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel.
