Verify and clean a list

Start here to find out which addresses on a list will bounce. The email checker asks one mailbox's server whether it exists; the list tools below remove duplicates, typo domains, invisible characters, role, free and throwaway addresses and domains with no mail server, and check a whole file against Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and other providers before you pay to send.

Export a list from your store or payments

Turn a customer export from Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, Square, PayPal and other store or payment tools into one clean email column. Each tool reads that platform's own CSV headers, sets aside customers who unsubscribed or don't accept marketing where the export records it, and removes duplicates, so the file is ready to verify and import.

Export a list from your email platform

Clean an audience export from Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Kit, MailerLite, GetResponse, Omnisend, Drip, Flodesk, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, AWeber or a newsletter tool before you re-import it or move platforms. The tools read each platform's export columns, set aside unsubscribed and bounced contacts where the export marks them, and give you a list you can verify, so dead addresses stop counting toward a contact-based bill.

Export a list from your CRM or address book

Pull the email addresses out of a HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Close, Freshsales, GoHighLevel, Keap or Copper export, or a Google or Outlook contacts file. Each tool reads that CRM's email columns, sets aside contacts it marks bounced, invalid or opted out, and drops duplicates, so you can verify the list before a campaign.

Export a list from a lead database

Clean an Apollo, ZoomInfo, Lusha, RocketReach, Seamless.AI, Cognism, Hunter, Snov.io, Clay or Sales Navigator export before it goes into a sequence. The tools read each vendor's email and status columns, set aside addresses the vendor itself marked invalid (and, if you choose, catch-all or unverified ones), and remove duplicates. Lead data ages as people change jobs, so verify what is left before sending.

Export a list from your sequencer, with a suppression list

Get the leads out of Instantly, Smartlead, lemlist, Reply.io, Woodpecker or Saleshandy with their campaign status, so bounced, replied and unsubscribed contacts are split out before you reuse a list. The suppression list merger joins every do-not-contact file you have into one, which you load back into the sequencer before the next send.

Export a list from events, forms and communities

Turn an attendee, registrant, guest or member export into an email list: Eventbrite, Zoom, Luma, Whova, Cvent, Calendly, calendar invites, forms, Facebook lead ads, Circle, Mighty Networks, Slack, Patreon and Notion. Each tool finds the email column that platform uses, sets aside cancelled or declined registrations where the export records them, and removes duplicates.

Extract, convert and reshape a file

Get addresses out of a PDF, Word document, spreadsheet, mailbox or contacts file, then shape the CSV the way your next tool wants it: merge, compare several lists, split, segment, sample, sort, split into A/B test groups, split addresses into username and domain, reformat, remove blank rows, find and replace in a column, reorder and rename columns, count unique values, split addresses into street, city, state and zip, standardise countries, states and LinkedIn URLs, fix the encoding, convert JSON to CSV or CSV to an Excel file that keeps leading zeros, or hash it for ad audiences. Everything here runs in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.

Find an email address or company domain

Work out a person's likely work address from their name and company domain, find the pattern a company uses, pull published addresses from a website, match company names to domains and back, turn a website column into clean domains, or check that each address on a lead list fits the contact's name. Guessed addresses are only candidates: check the top ones with a live mailbox check before you send.

Before you send

Check a campaign the hour before it goes out: spam-trigger words, subject and preview text, broken links, image-to-text ratio, message size, HTML that breaks in Outlook, accessibility, merge fields and how full each column is, first names, company names and job titles, personalised first lines, merge tags moved between tools, lead scores, CAN-SPAM basics and the footer, how many contacts per company you are about to email, and how to publish your own address on a site without it being scraped. After a bad send, find the source that bounced, the addresses that keep soft-bouncing and the complainants in your feedback-loop reports before the next one. Each check runs on your own copy or list and says what to change.

DNS, authentication and sender setup

Check and build the records mailbox providers read before they accept your mail: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, BIMI, MTA-STS and reverse DNS, plus blocklists, the Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft bulk sender rules and a Feedback-ID header for per-campaign spam rates. If a message already failed, start from the evidence with the header analyzer or the bounce tools; if the account was suspended, write the reply with the appeal builder.

Domain and provider lookups

Look up who a domain belongs to and what it runs on: whether it is free to register, how old it is, when it expires, what its status codes mean, its registrar, web host and status, whether it has DNSSEC, CAA and IPv6, its security headers, robots.txt, sitemap, favicon, security.txt, ads.txt and llms.txt, whether www and HTTPS redirect to one address, who runs its extension, how an internationalised name is written in Punycode, which mailbox provider and email tools it uses, and look-alike domains that could be used to spoof it. Most run in bulk on a pasted list of domains.

Phone numbers and SMS

Validate, format and tidy phone numbers against each country's numbering plan, find the country, area code and time zone, split mobiles from landlines, and count SMS segments. These use Google's open-source libphonenumber data; none of them can say a line is in service.

Calculators

Put your own numbers in and get the figures that decide a campaign: what verification will cost, how many inboxes a cold email volume needs, bounce, open, reply, unsubscribe and complaint rates against each ESP's published limits, warmup and a restart plan after a block, the 7-day Gmail spam-rate count, list decay and return on a send. Each calculator shows its formula, so you can rebuild it in a spreadsheet.

Why these are free

A DNS lookup and a short SMTP conversation cost nothing per query. There is no per-check fee for us to recover, so charging for a single check would be a pricing decision rather than a cost. The tools are rate-limited per IP because port 25 connections are a shared resource, not because they are expensive.

The paid product is the bulk version of the same engine: CSV uploads to 100,000 rows, the email finder, website enrichment and cached repeat verification, for $39 a month. See what is included.
