Email verification tools compared by price
Quick answer: Going by published prices re-read on 27 October 2026 (Bouncer last read 19 October), verifying 10,000 addresses month to month costs $23 on DeBounce and $25 on EmailListVerify; SimpleVerifier Pro is $39, and MillionVerifier sells a 10,000-credit pack for $39. At 25,000 a month every per-credit plan listed here costs more than our Pro plan ($39: the first 100,000 checks a month at full speed, then slower, never cut off); at 10,000 a month or less, DeBounce and EmailListVerify cost less than Pro.

Which email verification tool should I use?
It depends on list size. SimpleVerifier checks each address with a real SMTP mailbox check (valid, risky or invalid, with a reason). Monthly plans: $9 for 2,500 emails, or Pro at $39 with 100,000 a month at full speed, never cut off. Credit packs can cost less for one small pass. The first 100 checks are free.
- What it is
- Email verification with a real SMTP mailbox check: each address comes back valid, risky or invalid with a reason. Includes an email finder on Pro and up.
- Price per check
- Starter $9/mo for 2,500 ($3.60 per 1,000); Pro $39/mo, 100,000 a month at full speed ($0.39 per 1,000 when used), then slower, never cut off. Business $99/mo with 300,000 at full speed; Agency $249/mo with 750,000 at full speed.
- One-time packs
- 10,000 for $15 ($1.50 per 1,000); 25,000 for $29 ($1.16 per 1,000); 50,000 for $49 ($0.98 per 1,000); 100,000 for $79 ($0.79 per 1,000); 250,000 for $169 ($0.68 per 1,000). Credits never expire, run at standard speed, CSV verification only (no API or finder).
- Free checks
- First 100 email checks free with a Google sign-in, no card, once per account. Single checks on the free email checker need no account.
- Billing
- Monthly subscription, cancel anytime (yearly billing optional). One-time packs are listed above. Starter allowances reset monthly and do not roll over.
- Speed today
- One sending IP today, shared by every customer: about 13,000 mailbox checks a day in the standard lane. Bad syntax, dead domains and disposable addresses return at once; a list of 100,000 takes days, not hours, and each job shows its estimated finish time.
- Catch-all handling
- Catch-all (accept-all) addresses stay risky, never valid, and are graded higher, medium or lower likelihood with the reasons. Anything a mail server does not confirm is risky.
- API and MCP
- REST API on Pro, Business and Agency (Pro includes 10,000 calls a month, then $1.50 per 1,000). Remote MCP server with 6 tools for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. No API on Starter.
- Integrations
- Connects to Instantly, Smartlead, HubSpot and Mailchimp by API key: verifies a campaign or list and tags each contact with its result. CSV in and out for any other tool.
- Phone
- Free phone format checks (country, type range). Live carrier and line-type lookups come with Pro + Phone at $49.99/mo (5,000 a month). It never says a number is in service.
- What it does not do
- No sending, warmup or inbox placement tests. No published accuracy benchmark against other verifiers. Catch-all domains, Yahoo and AOL cannot be confirmed, and Outlook.com and Hotmail mailboxes are not probed while Microsoft refuses checks from our server's network: all of these come back risky, never valid.

Which one should you pick?
Pick DeBounce if you want a low price on a one-off clean of a small or medium list, with pay-as-you-go credits that never expire.
Pick EmailListVerify if you verify a steady 5,000 to 10,000 addresses a month ($16 a month for 5,000), or want pay-as-you-go credits that never expire.
Pick SimpleVerifier if you verify or re-check lists every month and want one flat monthly price instead of credits, with catch-all addresses kept risky rather than marked valid.
Skip SimpleVerifier if you want the lowest price for one small list, where another vendor's pack can cost less (cost by list size); you need your data processed only inside the EU (our service providers process data in several countries, including the US); or your list is mostly Outlook.com, Hotmail or Live addresses, which Microsoft currently won't let us confirm, so they come back risky (why).
Pick MillionVerifier if you clean a very large list once in a while: 1,000,000 credits are $449 one-time, never expire, and there is no subscription to cancel.
Pick Bouncer if you also want inbox placement and blocklist tests from the same vendor (its Deliverability Kit is a separate plan).
Pick NeverBounce if you want verification synced inside many marketing tools: its pricing page lists 80+ integrations.
Pick Emailable if you want 250 free credits to test with and credits that never expire.
Pick Clearout if you pay yearly and also want an email finder and prospecting on the same credit balance.
Pick Kickbox if you want unknown results refunded as credits, or deliverability consulting alongside verification.
Pick ZeroBounce if you will use what its subscription bundles (inbox placement tests, blacklist monitoring, warmup), or want a free allowance that refills every month.
Pick Hunter if you want to find, verify and send from one tool rather than buy a verifier on its own.
How we compared
We read every price and free allowance off each vendor's own pricing page (re-checked 27 October 2026; Bouncer's subscription price would not load for us, so its row is from 19 October) and list the page under each tool. We compared price only, at one volume, because that is what the pages publish; we did not run an accuracy benchmark, so nothing here ranks accuracy. Annual-billing prices are noted in the text but not used for the ranking.
Each tool in a few lines
1. DeBounce
Best for: Small and medium lists cleaned once or monthly
- Pay-as-you-go credits never expire
- A 10,000-credit pack is $25 one-time, with nothing to cancel afterwards
- Watch out: Every pass over the same list is billed again
Checked October 27, 2026: DeBounce pricing
2. EmailListVerify
Best for: Steady lists of 5,000-10,000 a month
- A 5,000-a-month plan is $16
- Pay-as-you-go credits never expire
- Watch out: The page shows prices in euros in some regions while its structured data labels them US dollars
Checked October 27, 2026: EmailListVerify pricing
3. SimpleVerifier(our tool)
Best for: Lists checked every month and re-checks, on Pro
- Pro is one monthly price that never cuts you off, so a second pass over a list costs nothing extra
- Starter is $9 a month for 2,500 if your volume is small
- Watch out: Starter covers CSV email verification only, and unused emails don't roll over
- Watch out: One-time packs run at standard speed and cover CSV verification only (no API or finder)
- Watch out: The free allowance is a one-time 100 checks, not a monthly refill
- Watch out: Checks are paced, and past 100,000 a month Pro runs big lists in a slower lane, so very large lists queue
Checked October 27, 2026: SimpleVerifier pricing
4. MillionVerifier
Best for: Very large one-off cleans
- 1,000,000 credits for $449, with credits that never expire
- No subscription to cancel
- Watch out: No monthly plan, so a monthly re-check is a fresh purchase each time
Checked October 27, 2026: MillionVerifier pricing (homepage slider)
5. Bouncer
Best for: Teams that also want inbox placement and blocklist tests
- The monthly subscription is the pay-as-you-go volumes at 20% off
- Pay-as-you-go credits never expire
- Watch out: Deliverability testing is a separate plan from $25 a month
Checked October 19, 2026: Bouncer pricing
6. NeverBounce
Best for: Teams that want verification wired into many marketing tools
- Its pricing page says it works with 80+ integrations, including Zapier, HubSpot and Mailchimp
- Sync cleans lists inside connected tools, and Growth bills only new, unique emails
- Watch out: Pay-as-you-go credits expire 12 months after purchase
Checked October 27, 2026: NeverBounce pricing
7. Emailable
Best for: Buyers who want credits that never expire
- 250 free credits on signup, more than the one-time 100 most vendors here give
- A subscription saves 15% and can be cancelled at any time
- Watch out: Per-credit pricing: 100,000 a month is $357 on the subscription
Checked October 27, 2026: Emailable pricing
8. Clearout
Best for: Annual buyers who also want an email finder and prospecting
- Billed yearly, 10,000 a month is $32 a month ($384 a year), a little under SimpleVerifier Pro's $32.50 yearly rate
- Verification, email finder and prospecting share one credit balance
- Watch out: The monthly-billed price for 10,000 is $58, far above the yearly rate
Checked October 27, 2026: Clearout pricing
9. Kickbox
Best for: Senders who also want deliverability consulting
- Unknown results are refunded as credits, by Kickbox's own pricing page
- Sells deliverability consulting and audits alongside verification
- Watch out: No subscription; every list is a per-email purchase
Checked October 27, 2026: Kickbox pricing
10. ZeroBounce
Best for: Teams that want a wider deliverability suite in one place
- The free allowance refills every month instead of being a one-time grant
- Its subscription bundles deliverability tools with verification
- Watch out: Pay-as-you-go starts at $39 for 2,000 credits
Checked October 27, 2026: ZeroBounce pricing
11. Hunter
Best for: Outreach teams that find, verify and send in one tool
- Email finder, campaigns and verification in one product
- A verification costs half a credit, so the Growth plan covers 20,000 verifications
- Watch out: The $49 Starter plan covers 4,000 verifications, so 10,000 a month needs Growth
Checked October 27, 2026: Hunter pricing
Common questions
- Which email verification tool costs the least for 10,000 addresses a month?
- By published monthly prices, DeBounce at $23 a month and EmailListVerify at $25, then SimpleVerifier Pro at $39 and MillionVerifier's 10,000 pack at $39 (all checked 27 October 2026). For a single one-off clean of 10,000, DeBounce's $25 pack and EmailListVerify's $27 pack need nothing cancelled afterwards.
- When does a flat-price verifier cost less than credits?
- When volume is high or you re-check the same list. SimpleVerifier's $39 Pro runs 100,000 a month at full speed and keeps going, slower, past that, while credit vendors bill each pass again. At 50,000 a month, EmailListVerify's plan is $89 and DeBounce's is $69.
- Which verifiers give free credits?
- Emailable gives 250 credits on signup; DeBounce, EmailListVerify, MillionVerifier, Bouncer, Clearout and Kickbox give 100; ZeroBounce gives 100 a month with a business email; Hunter's free plan is 50 credits a month (100 verifications). SimpleVerifier gives 100 free email checks, one time, after a Google sign-in with no card.
- Is Clearout cheaper than SimpleVerifier on a yearly plan?
- Yes, by a little at 10,000 a month on yearly billing: Clearout's yearly Pro 10K is $32 a month ($384 a year) and SimpleVerifier Pro yearly is $32.50 a month ($390). Clearout's 3,000-a-month Starter is $16 a month billed yearly, which is lower if 3,000 is all you need.
- Does this ranking say which tool is most accurate?
- No. It compares published prices only. We did not run an accuracy test, so test any shortlist on a sample of your own list, including addresses you know are dead.
Test it on a real address first
Type any address. It gets the same check the paid plans run: syntax, the domain’s mail servers and, where the provider allows it, a live mailbox check. Nothing is sent to the address.
Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.
