Email domain
email.de email servers, SPF and DMARC
Mail for @email.de goes to mx-ha02.web.de (MX priority 100) and 1 backup host, as DNS showed on 5 November 2026. The host sits under web.de. The domain publishes an SPF record v=spf1 redirect=_spf.web.de and a DMARC policy of p=quarantine, which decide whether mail claiming to be from @email.de is trusted.

email.de MX records
email.de publishes 2 MX hosts, all at priority 100, so senders spread mail across them.
email.de SPF record
The record on 5 November 2026 was v=spf1 redirect=_spf.web.de.
In plain terms, it delegates to _spf.web.de. The top level uses 1 DNS-querying term; SPF allows 10 in total including nested includes (RFC 7208 §4.6.4).
email.de DMARC policy
The record is v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; rua=mailto:[email protected].
p=quarantine asks receivers to send failing mail to spam.
Aggregate reports go to web.de, so the domain's owner sees who sends mail as @email.de.
What that means for you: if a contact gives an @email.de address and you send to them, nothing changes. But never put an @email.de address in the From line of mail sent through your own tool or ESP. It can't pass DMARC for email.de, and this policy tells receivers to junk it.
Domains on the same mail servers as email.de
email.de shares mx-ha02.web.de and mx-ha03.web.de with web.de. When we tested those servers for web.de on 12 October 2026, the result was: Hard to verify. The server refuses connections it does not trust before answering about the mailbox.
Can you verify @email.de addresses?
Our checker treats @email.de like any domain: syntax, MX, disposable and role checks first, then a made-up address to rule out a catch-all, then your address at RCPT TO, disconnecting without sending. We have not tested @email.de itself, but its mail goes to the same servers as web.de, so expect @email.de results to follow the pattern described there. Each result carries its own reason.
Cleaning a list with these addresses
DNS tells you where mail goes, not whether one person's mailbox still exists. For a list, run the whole file through a verifier before you send: invalid rows come out, risky rows (catch-all, unknown, refused) go in their own segment, and valid rows are safe to mail.
