List cleaning and permission pass email templates
A permission pass asks subscribers to confirm they still want your mail before you clean the list. A sunset email is the last one before an inactive address is suppressed. Both protect your sender reputation, and both work better when the list was verified first, so the people who never answer are not simply dead addresses.
Email offering subscribers fewer emails
Sent to subscribers whose engagement is falling but who have not gone fully quiet. It offers less email rather than none, before you consider a sunset.
46 wordsPermission pass email before a list cleanup
Sent to an old or inactive segment before you clean the list. Subscribers click to stay; everyone who does not is removed on a stated date.
68 wordsReconfirmation email after a list migration
Sent after you switch email provider, merge lists after an acquisition, or inherit a list whose consent records are incomplete. It explains the change and asks people to opt back in.
54 wordsSunset email before suppressing inactive subscribers
The last email an inactive subscriber receives under your sunset policy. If they do not click, they are suppressed and stop getting your mail.
61 wordsVerify your list before you send
The best template still bounces off an address that does not exist, and a high bounce rate is the quickest way to get a sending domain throttled. Upload the CSV and every address gets a live mailbox check, with valid, risky and invalid split into separate files.
