What each type means for the caller
- Toll-free: 8002–8009, 8332–8339, 8442–8449, 8552–8559, 8662–8669, 8772–8779 or 8882–8889
- Free to the caller, usually only from inside the country; the business that owns the number pays for the call. 10 digits after +1.
- Premium rate: 9002–9009
- Charged above a normal call at a rate set by the service, with part of the charge going to the service provider. 10 digits after +1.
- Personal number: 500, 521–529, 532, 533, 544, 566, 577 or 588
- A follow-me number that forwards to whatever phone its owner chooses, so the digits don't reveal the line behind it. 10 digits after +1.
Writing and dialling a Guam toll-free number
Guam has no trunk prefix, so the number is the same at home and abroad; in E.164 put +1 in front. Many freephone numbers still only accept calls from inside Guam, and a call from abroad that does connect is usually charged.
Toll-free and premium numbers in a phone list
In a lead or customer list, a toll-free number usually reaches a company line rather than a person, and a premium-rate number costs you money to call. The free toll-free number checker flags them in a pasted list or CSV, and the Guam phone number format page covers mobiles and landlines.

A prefix says what a range is for. A live lookup says what the line is now.

- Official plan: ITU-T E.164 national numbering plan for Guam. The regulator’s filing is the authority when the two disagree.
The numbering plan only knows what a range was issued for.
In the US and Canada mobiles and landlines share the same prefixes, and anywhere a number can be ported or reassigned the range stops telling the whole story. A live carrier lookup asks the network data instead, which is what Pro + Phone ($49.99/mo) adds.
