How to check if a sky.com email address exists

Can you verify @sky.com addresses?

Partly

Partly. @sky.com accepts any recipient, so a single mailbox can't be confirmed.

Check one address

Five checks a minute, no account needed. Nothing is sent to the address — we ask its mail server whether the mailbox exists, then disconnect.

Checking a whole list? The first 100 addresses are free, with results to download. No card.

The checker probes @sky.com, but it first offers a random address that can't exist. sky.com's server accepts it, so the checker returns the real address as risky with "Accepts all addresses" rather than calling it valid. It always checks the syntax, the domain's MX records, disposable domains and role addresses such as info@ first.

Reasons you'll see in results:Accepts all addresses

Sky Mail addresses can't be confirmed with a mailbox check. On 12 October 2026 the sky.com mail server mx-eu.mail.am0.yahoodns.net accepted a made-up recipient at RCPT TO with 250 recipient <…@sky.com> ok, so real and fake addresses get the same answer. Expect sky.com results to come back risky (accept-all), not valid or invalid.

Price: this tool is free. Checking a whole email list is from $9/mo, and the first 100 checks are free with Google, no card. See pricing

What Sky Mail's server says about a missing mailbox

Sky Mail answered our made-up sky.com address with 250 recipient <…@sky.com> ok at RCPT TO, the step where a verifier names the recipient. When a server says yes to an address that cannot exist, its yes for your real address carries no information. SimpleVerifier tests a random address first for exactly this reason and returns sky.com results as risky with the reason "Accepts all addresses".

Accepting at RCPT TO doesn't mean every message is delivered. Providers that do this usually decide later, after the message is sent, and a missing mailbox then produces a bounce rather than an up-front rejection. That is why accept-all results belong in their own segment: accept-all vs unknown results covers how to treat them.

Mail for this domain is received by Yahoo's yahoodns.net servers, the same network that receives yahoo.com and aol.com mail, so it behaves the same way when checked.

Sky mail is run by Yahoo and deleted after six idle months

Sky's terms say Sky UK Limited is responsible for Sky | Yahoo Mail, and that Yahoo! UK Services Limited provides the service on its behalf. Under Sky's inactive-account page an account unused for more than six months can be deleted. Sky warns at five months, suspends 14 days later and deletes after 14 more days.

A suspended mailbox returns mail to the sender, and a deleted one cannot be recovered. Auto-forwarding without signing in also makes an account look inactive. Our checker saw the domain accept any recipient, so rely on engagement to find dead @sky.com contacts.

Cleaning sky.com addresses when the server says yes to everything

Don't delete sky.com addresses just because they came back risky; most will be real. Remove what can be proven bad without the mailbox check: syntax errors, typo domains, duplicates and disposable addresses, which the free list health check finds in the browser.

Then send to the sky.com segment in a small first batch and watch the bounces. Addresses that bounce as unknown users are gone and should be suppressed; the rest have proved themselves. Engagement history is the other strong signal: an address that opened or replied recently is live whatever the check says. Should you send to catch-all emails? walks through the same approach.

Common questions

Can you verify @sky.com addresses?
Partly. @sky.com accepts any recipient, so a single mailbox can't be confirmed.
Can I check if a sky.com address exists without emailing it?
Not reliably. On 12 October 2026 Sky Mail's server accepted a made-up sky.com address at the RCPT TO step, so a mailbox check gets the same yes for real and fake addresses. Verifiers return sky.com addresses as risky (accept-all).
What mail servers does sky.com use?
On 12 October 2026, sky.com published these MX hosts: mx-eu.mail.am0.yahoodns.net. You can look them up yourself with the free MX lookup tool.
Should I delete sky.com addresses that come back risky?
No. For sky.com, risky reflects how the server treats checks, not the address. Remove the ones that fail format, typo-domain and duplicate checks, then send to the rest in a small batch and suppress whatever hard-bounces.
