Haiti phone number format
How do you format a Haiti phone number?
Write a Haiti phone number with the country code +509. A mobile looks like 34 10 1234 inside Haiti and +509 34 10 1234 from abroad. Mobiles have 8 digits after the country code, and the E.164 form is +50934101234. A format check confirms the digits fit the numbering plan, not that the number is in service.

| Format | Mobile | Landline |
|---|---|---|
| National (inside Haiti) | 34 10 1234 | 22 45 3300 |
| International | +509 34 10 1234 | +509 22 45 3300 |
| E.164 | +50934101234 | +50922453300 |
How to write a Haiti number in E.164
- Remove spaces, dashes, dots and brackets so only digits are left.
- Haiti has no trunk prefix, so keep every digit of the national number.
- Put +509 in front. The result has 8 digits after the country code for a mobile.
So 34 10 1234 becomes +50934101234. E.164 is the format SMS gateways, dialers and most CRMs store; see the E.164 format explained for why.
Mobile or landline?
Haiti allocates separate number ranges to mobiles and landlines, so a numbering-plan check reads the line type straight from the digits, for free. That type describes the range the number came from. It doesn’t prove the number is connected today.
Mobile, landline and special number ranges in Haiti
A Haiti mobile number starts with 3, 4, 55, 56, 58 after +509. Every valid number of each type below starts with one of the digit groups shown. A number that starts the right way can still be unassigned: the groups say what a range is for, not that a number is connected.
| Type | Starts with, after +509 | Digits | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile | 3, 4, 55, 56, 58 | 8 | +509 34 10 1234 |
| Landline (fixed line) | 22, 251–255, 281, 291, 294, 299 | 8 | +509 22 45 3300 |
| Toll-free | 8 | 8 | +509 80 01 2345 |
| VoIP | 960–964, 970–974, 980–983, 985, 988, 989, 99 | 8 | +509 98 90 1234 |

Common questions
- What is the country code for Haiti?
- The country calling code for Haiti is +509. When you call Haiti from abroad, dial your international prefix (or +) followed by 509 and the number.
- How many digits is a Haiti phone number?
- A Haiti mobile number has 8 digits after the country code +509, the same as a landline.
- How do I write a Haiti number in international format?
- Start with +509, then add the rest of the number. The mobile number 34 10 1234 becomes +509 34 10 1234, or +50934101234 in E.164, the form most CRMs and SMS tools expect.
- Can you tell if a Haiti number is a mobile?
- Usually, yes. Haiti numbers come from ranges allocated separately to mobiles and landlines, so a numbering-plan check reads the line type from the digits. It tells you what the range is for, not whether the number is in service.
- Does a valid format mean a Haiti number is in service?
- No. A valid format means the digits fit a range Haiti's numbering plan allocates. It cannot tell whether the number is connected today or who carries it, because numbers are reassigned and ported. A live carrier lookup reports the current carrier and line type, but even that does not prove someone answers.
- Can I check a list of Haiti numbers for free?
- Yes. Paste them in the list tab above or upload a CSV to the bulk phone number validator: E.164, country, format status and numbering-plan line type are free for every row, with no account. Live carrier and line-type lookups come with Pro + Phone at $49.99/mo (5,000 a month).
