Writing and dialling a Barbados toll-free number

Barbados has no trunk prefix, so the number is the same at home and abroad; in E.164 put +1 in front. Many freephone numbers still only accept calls from inside Barbados, and a call from abroad that does connect is usually charged.

Toll-free and premium numbers in a phone list

In a lead or customer list, a toll-free number usually reaches a company line rather than a person, and a premium-rate number costs you money to call. The free toll-free number checker flags them in a pasted list or CSV, and the Barbados phone number format page covers mobiles and landlines.

Next step

A prefix says what a range is for. A live lookup says what the line is now.

Pro + Phone is $49.99 a month (or $499.90 a year): upload a CSV and every number gets a live line-type and carrier lookup, with the emails in the same file checked too.

The numbering plan only knows what a range was issued for.

In the US and Canada mobiles and landlines share the same prefixes, and anywhere a number can be ported or reassigned the range stops telling the whole story. A live carrier lookup asks the network data instead, which is what Pro + Phone ($49.99/mo) adds.

  • 5,000 live carrier lookups a month: real line type, including US numbers
  • Carrier name for every number looked up
  • Upload a CSV up to 100,000 rows; emails in the same file get a mailbox check
