What each type means for the caller
- Toll-free: 800
- Free to the caller, usually only from inside the country; the business that owns the number pays for the call. 8 digits after +357.
- Premium rate: 900 or 909
- Charged above a normal call at a rate set by the service, with part of the charge going to the service provider. 8 digits after +357.
- Shared cost: 801–809
- The caller pays part of the cost and the owner pays the rest, so the price sits between a free and a normal call. 8 digits after +357.
- Universal access (UAN): 50 or 77
- One national number for a business with several sites, routed to the nearest or chosen office. 8 digits after +357.
- Personal number: 700
- A follow-me number that forwards to whatever phone its owner chooses, so the digits don't reveal the line behind it. 8 digits after +357.
Writing and dialling a Cyprus toll-free number
Cyprus has no trunk prefix, so the number is the same at home and abroad; in E.164 put +357 in front: 80 001234 becomes +35780001234. Many freephone numbers still only accept calls from inside Cyprus, and a call from abroad that does connect is usually charged.
Toll-free and premium numbers in a phone list
In a lead or customer list, a toll-free number usually reaches a company line rather than a person, and a premium-rate number costs you money to call. The free toll-free number checker flags them in a pasted list or CSV, and the Cyprus phone number format page covers mobiles and landlines.

A prefix says what a range is for. A live lookup says what the line is now.
Pro + Phone is $49.99 a month (or $499.90 a year): upload a CSV and every number gets a live line-type and carrier lookup, with the emails in the same file checked too.

The numbering plan only knows what a range was issued for.
In the US and Canada mobiles and landlines share the same prefixes, and anywhere a number can be ported or reassigned the range stops telling the whole story. A live carrier lookup asks the network data instead, which is what Pro + Phone ($49.99/mo) adds.
