|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toll-free | 9800 | 09800 | 9 to 11 | +595 9800 012 3456 |

What each type means for the caller
- Toll-free: 09800
- Free to the caller, usually only from inside the country; the business that owns the number pays for the call. 9 to 11 digits after +595.
- Universal access (UAN): 020, 030, 040, 050, 060, 070, 080 or 090
- One national number for a business with several sites, routed to the nearest or chosen office. 6 to 9 digits after +595.
- VoIP: 08700
- Numbers issued for internet telephony services rather than a fixed line or a mobile network. 9 digits after +595.
Writing and dialling a Paraguay toll-free number
Inside Paraguay, dial the number with its leading 0. From abroad or in E.164, drop the 0 and put +595 in front: 9800 012 3456 becomes +59598000123456. Many freephone numbers still only accept calls from inside Paraguay, and a call from abroad that does connect is usually charged.
Toll-free and premium numbers in a phone list
In a lead or customer list, a toll-free number usually reaches a company line rather than a person, and a premium-rate number costs you money to call. The free toll-free number checker flags them in a pasted list or CSV, and the Paraguay phone number format page covers mobiles and landlines.

The numbering plan only knows what a range was issued for.
In the US and Canada mobiles and landlines share the same prefixes, and anywhere a number can be ported or reassigned the range stops telling the whole story. A live carrier lookup asks the network data instead, which is what Pro + Phone ($49.99/mo) adds.

- Carrier name for every number looked up
