Toll-free and premium numbers in Turkey
Toll-free numbers in Turkey start with 0800 or 0811 when dialled inside Turkey (800 or 811 after +90 from abroad) and have 10, 12 or 13 digits after the country code. Premium-rate numbers start with 0888, 0898 or 0900. Example: 0800 123 4567, or +908001234567 in E.164.

What each type means for the caller
- Toll-free: 0800 or 0811
- Free to the caller, usually only from inside the country; the business that owns the number pays for the call. 10, 12 or 13 digits after +90.
- Premium rate: 0888, 0898 or 0900
- Charged above a normal call at a rate set by the service, with part of the charge going to the service provider. 10 digits after +90.
- Universal access (UAN): 0444
- One national number for a business with several sites, routed to the nearest or chosen office. 7 digits after +90.
- Personal number: 05922 or 05924
- A follow-me number that forwards to whatever phone its owner chooses, so the digits don't reveal the line behind it. 10 digits after +90.
- VoIP: 0850
- Numbers issued for internet telephony services rather than a fixed line or a mobile network. 10 digits after +90.
Writing and dialling a Turkey toll-free number
Inside Turkey, dial the number with its leading 0. From abroad or in E.164, drop the 0 and put +90 in front: 0800 123 4567 becomes +908001234567. Many freephone numbers still only accept calls from inside Turkey, and a call from abroad that does connect is usually charged.
Toll-free and premium numbers in a phone list
In a lead or customer list, a toll-free number usually reaches a company line rather than a person, and a premium-rate number costs you money to call. The free toll-free number checker flags them in a pasted list or CSV, and the Turkey phone number format page covers mobiles and landlines.

A prefix says what a range is for. A live lookup says what the line is now.
Pro + Phone is $49.99 a month (or $499.90 a year): upload a CSV and every number gets a live line-type and carrier lookup, with the emails in the same file checked too.

Common questions
- What is the toll-free prefix in Turkey?
- Turkey toll-free numbers start with 0800 or 0811 at home, written +90 800 or 811 internationally. Every valid toll-free number starts that way, though not every number with those digits is in service.
- How many digits is a Turkey toll-free number?
- 10, 12 or 13 digits after the country code +90, plus the trunk prefix 0 when dialled inside Turkey.
- Can I call a Turkey toll-free number from abroad?
- Sometimes. Dial +90 and the number without the leading 0. Many freephone numbers only take calls from inside Turkey, and where they do connect from abroad the call is usually charged.
- How do I spot a premium-rate number in Turkey?
- By its first digits: 0888, 0898 or 0900. The prefix tells you the range is charged; the actual price is set per service.

The numbering plan only knows what a range was issued for.
In the US and Canada mobiles and landlines share the same prefixes, and anywhere a number can be ported or reassigned the range stops telling the whole story. A live carrier lookup asks the network data instead, which is what Pro + Phone ($49.99/mo) adds.
