1. Export the CSV from Smartlead
- In Smartlead, open the campaign and go to its Lead list.
- Click Filter to narrow by Email Status or Lead Category if you need to.
- Click Download as CSV.

- Opt-in, with a confirmation step: pause invalid leads in this campaign; delete invalid leads from this campaign; add invalid addresses to your Smartlead global block list. These act on invalid leads only.
- Paid plans can auto-verify new leads once a day, up to 10,000 a day, with the cost shown before it starts.

- How do I export my leads from Smartlead?
- In Smartlead, open the campaign and go to its Lead list. Click Filter to narrow by Email Status or Lead Category if you need to. Click Download as CSV.
- Do I need to change the Smartlead CSV before uploading it?
- No. The email column is found by its header or its contents, so the Smartlead export works as it is. Every other column is kept, and the cleaned files come back with your original columns so you can import them straight back into Smartlead.
- Why verify a list that came from Smartlead?
- Lead databases go stale as people change jobs, and a bounced cold email counts against your sending domain the same as any other. Verifying the Smartlead export before it goes into a sequence keeps the bounce rate under the roughly 2% line where mailbox providers start filtering, and it catches catch-all domains you should not send to blind.
- How much does it cost?

- Can I verify Smartlead leads without exporting a CSV?
- Yes. Connect your own Smartlead API key in the SimpleVerifier dashboard, pick one of your campaigns, and the leads are pulled and verified as a normal list job on your plan (free accounts use their free checks). By default each lead is tagged in Smartlead with its result; removing or blocking invalid leads is opt-in and needs a confirmation. Paid plans can also auto-verify new leads daily.
